That should help. Now that you've got roles figured out, it might help you to make sure the wingers are set to "winger" and not "wide midfielder", and make one of your central midfielders a playmaker. I use Schneiderlin as a deep-lying playmaker, but that's just my personal preference. Have fun creating.

I just got Sanogo on loan for a season. My team is becoming more beasty by the day...

Also signed a newgen call Taurean Lee from Middlesbrough purely because his name is awesome....and he's 4.5* PA....and he's English...

Why can't I get Southampton to play well, 1-1 against Peterborough, not the worst result, played 4-5-1 for the first time, and we played a bit better.

I can see why Cortese is thinking about extending the stadium in real life. Averaged 30500 last season, sold out like 13 games....

My next game is against Coventry, they are 8th, it is away, and we generally don't do well away from home, but I would expect to win.

He won't let me expand on the game despite a Europa League Cup, 3 consecutive seasons in the CL and two FA Cups :(

I requested an extension, he said yes but we didn't have the money. We're getting undersoil heating plus 4000 extra seats now though...

Interesting player. I just scouted him, and his stats are really poor but scout says his potential is 4.5 stars. I think his poor current ability is due to the fact that he hasn't been playing. He's just requested a transfer. I'm tempted to sign him, but I'm wondering if he'll block Sinclair's chance at getting in the team. This is a toughie.

Sinclair won't make it with me. Couple of bad injuries have really hurt his stats.

My youngsters are doing really well. First season in the Premier League and Stephens is already starting some games. Ward-Prowse, Chambers and Sinclair are playing in cup games and even in Europe from time to time. I've also added Nick Powell to the squad. Even Sam McQueen and Bevis Mugabi have an outside chance of becoming rotation players.

We keep having to pull it back, yet another draw, a late goal by Lambert, this is pissing me off, I need to find something that works soon before it costs me promotion.

If we are not careful we could just slip right away from the top of the table then it would be really tough to get back there whereas if we get going now, maybe just maybe we could finish top 2, we are there now so why not?

I noticed Mugabi was doing well in training, but he just didn't make it because I signed Michael Chambers for £275k from Palace (just do it, brilliant prospect). Shaw did well on loan last season, but I think he needs another season out on loan due to slightly low stats and obviously having Bennett and Robinson ahead of him. Ward-Prowse will need another loan spell but has good mental stats which is a bonus. Moore has one more loan spell to prove his worth, then I'll decide whether to keep him rotation or let him go, and the same goes for Stephens. Callum Chambers will probably be used in cup games, because I want him to realise the potential he showed towards the end of 2011/12.

Most of them seem to be responding well to training though.

I've had him for a couple of seasons and he just keeps improving - such a great finisher and poacher, great turn of pace on him too.

I haven't used the young players yet, but I would like to sign Nick Powell, when I sign him I plan to give him a bit of time on the bench if he is good enough to compete straight away which I think he is.
