Pre season has been going well, just finishing up on my signings now just for the start of the season but if I see anyone I do like I will probably sign them, but I have my smallest team ever at the moment with under 70 players at the club currently, I normally have a massive team due to having around 50 under 18 players, bit ott but I like to make sure I have a great academy.
That is an amazing result, in The Championship aswell, imagine if that happened in real life? That would be amazing.

My team are stupidly fit (I love my 5* fitness trainers) so I can easily do three day gaps without a rest.
I hope my team can stay fit, I have good fitness trainers at Soton now as I have brought in new ones. Here is my team as it stands for the new season, I have tried to stick to the team as much as I can but there are certain players I need. As you can see there are some big names in the team, I have put together this team for only 2 million of upfront fees, I still have 4.5 million as I said I would get promotion, there is also 5 million of fees to be paid in the future on these players. I at last have this guy, got him for 750k upfront with it rising to upto 1.8 million if he plays 30 games and gets 20 goals, he is worth it I think. Ben Amos and Paul Pogba were signed on free transfers from Man Utd as they did not want them anymore, as well as Fryers. Rivaldo, yes Rivaldo and NO I have not gone mad, he is a quality player for his age, As you know from me by now I am all about young players but for this challenge I have decided I wanted a few experienced players, that is why I have him Crespo and Mario Malchoit, they are all great old players, Crespo and Melchoit are free transfers, but Rivaldo cost 75k, which I think is worth it, he is on such low wages that he is a good signing as he could have an impact hopefully, I am mainly still about the young players as you can see again I have a selection of young players and I have many in the under 18's which I have brought in to make sure the under 18's is great. I am hoping this old guy will still be good, he was good years ago, but I only plan for him to be a back up for other players like Sharp and Vossen. he used to be good, and his stats are not bad now, not as good as Rivaldo though. But it is all about this lad, VOSSEN, I have had him before at Gillingham, brought him in for 3 years when I when I went upto the Premiership, but I have decided I wanted him again, I just love something about Belgium players, they seem to have something great about themselves and I have always loved signing young Belgium players. I amazingly had to pay nothing upfront for him but will have to pay upto 2.5 million for him which would be OK anyway.
What are their names? Need to work on fitness, Adkins style. In other news, just won the League Cup, beating Aston Villa on penalties.
I just have to add this 17 year old who I said about earlier, he is so good, here he is. It is not just his stats and that he could be 5 star but look how good he is at playing in different positions, so versatile. Here is the team report, quiet good I think for The Championship, the additions look like they have made the team stronger and for only 2 million spent I am well happy, such a small spend which is what I like.
That is great, I never used to bother with the League cup, did not win it for like 5 or 6 years at Gillingham then decided to put a bit of effort in and won it, bit like that in real life, no one cares about it but the smaller clubs, On the terms of my career it starts with a home game against Leeds Utd, tough start.
I just had a great start, Vossen with a goal, 1-0 nice and we controlled the game, should have been a lot more but good enough for me to start with. Sharp was a class act aswell and got man of the match, quiet happy with Rivaldo, he worked so well in midfield and played 90 minutes which is not bad at 39 years old, Crespo did not play nor did Melchoit, I had Vanden Borre in defence instead who I plan to be my main Right back, I got him on a free transfer, not bad for a good defender who had previously been on loan in The Premiership with Pompey, he is only 23, so I am happy with him, they just did not want him. What do you think of him? I personally think he is quiet good.
