He was plagued with injuries in my game. Sent him on loan to Swindon, then got injured in pre-season which put him out for 8 months. Never fully recovered and now he's plying his trade at Southend... JWP's doing good for me though...
If i send out JWP.. Shaw.. Sinclair and Stephens out on loan.. will they get better and increase there rating? or will i have to do that myself manually.. by rotation.
I do a bit of both during the season. Play them all in the cup and if there are no competitions left, send them out on loan or put them on the bench for me every now and then
Well im playing Shaw as my 2nd left back as dickson is being sold and harding is in reserves... Selling hammond and chaplow.. and bringing jacob butterfield and JWP thru
Sounds good to me. After 1 year in the U18's, put the elite (3 1/2 star potential or more) in the reserve's the 2nd year so they can play higher quality football. Well, you don't have to but it's just some helpful advice
Malaysia is getting boring...can't decide whether to try and get a new job in Europe or just start a new game as Saints. It was better when they were in League 1 because you had more time to build your squad up. Also Nigel is manager of Portsmouth.
Seeing as everyone is doing it, im in 2015/2016 have won the FA Cup twice, the League Cup, Europa League and Premiership once and in my first season in the Champs League (2014/2015) I reached the semis. My current team is GK Sommer/Made up player RB Made up player/Naughton CB G Burdisso/Made up player CB C Dawson/Made up player LB Made up player/R Rodriguez CM Cork/Made up player CM Felipe Anderson/Made up player AML Lallana/Sterling AMR Reus/Made up player ST Sturridge/Made up player ST Munian/Fierro/Bakenga Squad is pretty good but as you can see I've got a lot of fake players (including 3 from the academy) so the average age is pretty young. I finished 2nd the year after I won the league and this year I failed to get out of the group stage of the Champs League, but give it another 2/3 years I think I can win everything regularly as the youth players will develop into stars. The other thing is that the academy seems to be slightly overated imo. Each season so far I have had a minimum of 6 players with the ability to be good Prem players come into the club and one year I had 10 good Prem and 3 Leading Prem. At first I thought that the coaches got it wong and they would find their levels after a season but all of them continue improving and seem, if anything, to be getting better than what the original scout report said
Jay Rodriguez is on fire for me ! Stick him on the left of the attack and put it on 'target man attack' and he will give results ! Bought him for £4.5mill in my first season and now in my 4th season. Worth every penny.
Actually, we both thought of the same thing, its just you told me you done it while i was going to do it but just hadnt said yet soooo
It's arrived!! Any tips for cheap young players that are going to be amazing? Any good young players?
James Forrest, Tom Cairney, Jay Rodriguez, Nathenial Clyne, Joe Lewis, Callum Booth to name a few. (i have all those players but some of them may take a while to get i.e money wise or needing promotion ect.) I strongly reccomend Billy Sharp too. Play him on the right of attack on poacher. Hes lethal
When you set up the game on the custom database load all players from top divisions in Europe and you will find loads. Bakenga, Bandalovski, Jonas Svensson, Joseph Baffo, Kara, Bressan to name a few
Alex Smithies, Alex Chamberlain (don't buy him to start with, let Arsenal do the hard work!), Monty Gimpel (very good young CB)
