2D would be perfect mate. On Fm11 I found my team suffered from chronic complacency problems. No matter what I said of do they just became complacent and crap. Every season it happened at nearly the same time. It became predictable when my team would go through a bad patch.

Delighted it's out in October but whenever I've bought the game early on it's been riddled with bugs until the first patch comes out. I'll still probably get it immediately mind !

Maybe you're just bad at it? Football Manager has consistently been better each year.

Agreed!! My most exciting prospect is this Czech goalie called Tomas Pejsa that I bought from this tiny Czech Club. He cost me £325k and he's already good Premier League at 17! That's 2.5 stars at Liverpool and he's potentially going to be 4! Then there's Augusto Improta, Jacob, Gianni Ghezzi, Ismael Aguirre, Tom Black and Ruben Dumortier.

Seeing as I won the Champs league, FA cup and PL in my first season with spurs... <ok>

It's just ****. It not as fun as the older ones. If I wanted it to be realistic I would get off my arse and do coaching badges and actually looking at becoming a manager instead of pretending to be one behind my compute screen. Games are meant to be fun and in my opinion it doesn't touch the older FMs.

I remember on FM05 I won La Liga in my first season with Deportivo. Signed Carlos Tevez for £5.5m and he scored 40 goals. It was fun but too easy. I prefer a challenge.

The Championship Manager games in the early 2000's were the best manager games ever made. FACT

There's a newgen on my current save called Gavin Freeman. I've never had the pleasure of signing him but in his prime he was perfect. Central Midfielder with 20 for passing, technique, stamina, influence, determination. 19 for first touch and work rate. Played for Middlesbrough his entire career and at 34 he is still England captain. For about ten seasons in a row he has had an average rating of around 8.00.

I once had a Turkish newgen at Villarreal called Ersoy Akin, signed him from Barcelona for £50m (to date, my most expensive signing <laugh>). Every one of his stats for the Poacher role was at least 18, and needless to say he tore up La Liga.

They were insanely good. Those CMs were made by the same makers as FM is now.

Ah I see. I have never played a FM game. I may invest in this new one and give it a go. I remember wasting my school years playing CM, good times.

If it was FMRTE I would have made him quicker, and he would be at my club (barca) instead of having to sign him for £45m.

Also I dont use FMRTE as it contradicts the whole point of the game

It's cool man, nothing aimed personally at you. I've just never seen a player like him before <ok>
