Doncaster are a right bastard on it Along with Bristol City. They tend to both finish in at least the top half and cause me no end of problems.
just about to start a new game after going cold turkey for a few months can anyone suggest any decent players ?
Depends what database really. If Tom Lees, Van Aanholt and Samaras are transfer listed, they're all very good and all under £700k each.
I'm going to scout the lower leagues, there is this defender called Tom Naylor who was linked with us in real life then joined Derby, could be less than 100k, I'm also going to bid for Jamie Vardy, although on the game he's only worth like 300k
Whilst in the Championship, refrain from signing youths any lower than five star potential. Sounds stupid I know but the problem is, you get yourself promoted and they end up turning out ****e, and you let them go for free.
What about free signings, I like to keep things simple and finacially secure, how much do Bolo Zenden and Robert Pires expect wage wise?
So do I - when I mentioned youths I was talking about the likes of Coady, who you can get for about £60k, brilliant prospect but turn out ****e. Never tried for those two myself, I can't think of any initial free agents actually - except Materazzi. Old and slow but still very good, especially with a lack of centre halves.
You would have to edit this in the editor but would have to start a new game for the change to take effect. It is called The Circle because for whatever reason they have chosen not to include the sponsorship name for us despite doing it for many other clubs.
The thing I regret most on FM12 was signing Antonio Cassano in my first season in Prem, second season overall. My scout said he wanted £40k a week and I only had £36K in wages left, so I thought I'm getting rid of a few players in the summer so I'll get the board to negotiate the deal for me. Turns out they gave him a £100k a week, and with two players having a Match Highest-Earner clause in their contracts, 3 players had deals worth a £100k a week. So finances were pretty bad. I resigned and ended up at Atletico Madrid. Not bad for my career but they hired Terry Connor to replace me...he ended up getting the sack 5 months into the job with a 4% win ratio. So atm Alan Shearer is leading us.
