It could show up a certain lazyness in some players?

But blimey, can you imagine the data produced if they were available when we had Fabrice Fernandes in one of his 'spin' modes. He remains the only player who I think managed to tackle himself on more than one occasion.

If this happens, I demand that we draw Blackpool at home in a cup. It must happen.

Whisper it quietly but look who is top of Division 2. Pleased for them. I feel there will be many twists and turns in this division as the teams at the top are closely clustered together. Maybe a total or around 85 points will see a team promoted there.

Can't believe the three teams occupying the bottom three places in the Championship at the moment when you consider how all three were miles ahead of the rest of League 1 last season.. I for one certainly don't believe they are the three weakest teams in that division but, having said that, there probably is very little difference ability between most teams in that division this year and just need that extra bit of luck to send them up the table.

The one thing about the Championship is that there is no letting up. There's no room for a bad day in that league because the teams in it are the best they can be without the mega money. The promoted League One teams may well be the equal of many, maybe even most, of the Championship teams, but they have to be like that every week, and they simply haven't had to reach that consistent standard before.

I haven't looked but maybe they've been unlucky with their injuries, fixtures and form, though I doubt it.

Brentford have sacked the Head Coach who replaced Mark Warburton already. Still believe that was one of the worst managerial decisions I have ever seen a club make.

That's a shame. I hope they don't come off the rails. Exciting times for them. Warbuton went by mutual consent. He didn't buy into Brentford's philosophy of statistical analysis. Turned out all right for him though.

Question is, if it ain't broke, why try to fix it?

Warburton took them from League One to the Championship play-offs in two seasons. Incredible considering the size of club Brentford is.

Oh I know, but Warburton wouldn't work under the owner/chairman's philosophy. The same owner who's other team FC Midtjylland put us out of the Europa using the same stats driven system.

Blackpool striker Nile Ranger has apologised to the club for his seven-month absence and recent behaviour.
"I would like to use this opportunity to thank Southampton, Newcastle, Swindon and Blackpool for giving me the chance to experience the dream of being a professional footballer.
"To add to this I would like to apologise to everyone at these clubs including management, players, staff and fans. I should have given more and been a better role model."

Fair enough. My advice would be find a manager who's willing to not only give you a chance but also some of their valuable time. A L2 club where maybe you can start paying football back while getting your career back on track. (has it ever been on track?) Last chance, if its given at all.........

Wolves have been put up for sale by current owner Steve Morgan, who is looking to sell 100% of the club.
