    Portsmouths visit to Wimbledon was called off due to a waterlogged pitch earlier today and it looks like their hopes of automatic promotion were called off with wins for both Accrington & Plymouth.
    Jason McCarthy & Wycombe drew 0-0 and remain in the play off places, they also have the most clean sheets in the league.

    Not such great news for an another Saints defender on loan. Jordan Turnbull and Swindon followed up a 4-1 defeat to Wigan with a 6-0 loss to Scunthorpe.

    They're winning 2-1 against Nigel Adkins and his Sheffield United side.

    Billy Sharp is still on, but goalscorer Dean Hammond has been subbed off.

    FT: Southend United 3-1 Sheffield United

    Southend up to 8th and six points off the play-offs with seven to go.

    Nigel nowhere to be seen in the top half. Sheffield United now 13th and the play-offs seem like the impossible dream.

    I hope Sheffield United continue to have faith in Nigel seeing what he can achieve with a high profile club in that particular division and given the right tools but somehow I fear not.

    I hope we haven't destroyed Nigel. He was a successful manager before he joined us....can't seem to replicate his success now.

    Jay Spearing won't play another game for Bolton as it will mean a 100K payment to Liverpool. Didn't we have something in Oxo's contract meaning that Arsenal had to pay us every game he played beyond a certain number of minutes, so Wenger tried to play him for less than the set time. It came out when we demanded payment on some matches because he hadn't allowed for added on time....and we won. Or is that one of those rumours.

    He scored Boro-s second goal with a header after they had missed a Penalty, now 3 - 1 up. Rambo is playing well, perhaps he has found his level?
