Stereotypes whether outdated or not always make for good humour IMO (as long as it's not you on the receiving end). I'd forgotten the "Scouser in a suit" gag or I may have used that as well. I've been watching the Kevin Bridges series of programmes recently where he was talking about this very subject. Couldn't find the actual comments but found this clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdsuShabEx8 Don't take it personally Channon, I was poking fun at all scousers not just you.
As I was born in St Mary's Southampton I don't consider myself a scouser! I did find it funny, and my response is meant to be ironic. No offence taken, as I know none was meant. Incidentally, I shall re-tell the tracksuit joke down the pub tonight and they'll love it. Scousers are brilliant at taking it out of themselves, but of course love to hand it out. Liverpool is simply my favourite city on earth, and I can't wait for Saints to be visiting twice a season again, but that's another story ...
Congratulations on your striker Rickie Lambert winning "Player of the Season". Lambert certainly is a worthy winner of the award. Good Luck next Season in the Prem- I imagine you will get there through the autos
