Ghoddle10...you can't say that the figure quoted for sales was the official one off your site and then say that he's telling lies can you? You also claim that the thread be closed before the usual abuse starts when you are getting involved with giving it out FFS.

This gives the attendance as 33,500, not bad for these 'recessionary times'.

Someone with the detailed knowledge of Spurs ticketing arangements that HB has, he knows more about this subject than me for example when it comes to our away allocations and sales figures, must have known the 24,000 figure didn't tell the full picture.

Incidentally I didn't say HB was telling lies, I simply called his bluff, not difficult with a Wum like him

'I accept that the 'official attendance' on our site is 24,730. But in actuality that must either be a mistake or some strange counting that Spurs have embarked on. Because all STs had that game as part of their free games, that makes about 26,000 to start with. Plus there were clearly at least 3,000 Rovers fans there, in actual fact lots were in the 'neutral/home' sections. Plus some Spurs members/occasional supporters definitely bought tickets, I personally know two myself.

It may well be that many Spurs STs didn't take up their seat, but it was sold regardless. Looking at the TV pictures, I would think the actual attendance was 30,000+, and including 'absentees' who had bought their ticket, I think 34,000 is about the right figure.

Re the abuse, I was predicting the inevitable and correctly so, as it turned out. I didn't need to be Nostradamus did I? You guys use the BBC source and claim this to be correct over the official attendance on the THFC official site , but only when it suits you.

But last season when you played Stoke, and the BBC quoted just 32702 for a Prem game; you said the BBC was wrong and the THFC official website attendance was right.
