The genteel Arsenal fans and Tottenham ones engage in civil discourse and a bit of banter on their way to the match.
Some of our fans would have a nervous breakdown if they encountered something like that walking to the ground.
Humberside Police wouldn't be as unresponsive. At least not to City fans. The away ones would get a free ride.

A lot of our fans thinking singing in the ground makes you a hooligan. People acting like those would result in letters to the HDM saying how they were ashamed to be a City fan, their kids were traumatised and couldn't sleep as did one because fans ran on the pitch to celebrate promotion a few years back.

We should all be friends and applaud good play by the opposition, whilst remaining seated at all times.

You seem to have a need to have a go at 'proper fans' all the time. I'm not aware of anyone on here saying having a scrap is proper support, so god knows who you were aiming that strange jibe at. Just City fans in general again I guess.

I realise you're a bit of a stupid ****, with no sense of humour and that you're obsessive with stuff, like the Allams and me, but it might be better if you just stuck me on ignore, or just stopped responding to my posts.

My post was to Castro, and was quite clearly a lighthearted jovial response.

Nothing sinister, or vindictive (I'll leave that to you with your bitterness).

Castro is obsessed with the police and "real fans" despite not being able to go to game. His witty response will no doubt include an (untrue) reference to my wife banning me from going to games in Dec. CI, of which he is a member, has had a couple of enlightening threads talking about the good old days, and scrapping and...actually it's not worth explaining, you've just seen I've posted something and are currently building up into a rage ready to deliver another riposte that will make you look stupid.

See. More joking. Bantz. Taking the piss.

    Maybe.

Who is unable to go to games? Some games due to health issues. Does that make me after over 50 years going through thin and thinner not a real fan? I had a season pass despite last season missing 9 of the games through illness or being in hospital. This year as OAP it would have been excellent value even if I missed a fair few games, whichever division we are in. But I had decided months ago not to renew. Nothing to do with relegation. I have spent all but 4 years out of 53 watching us in the lower leagues. When Allam goes or promises to drop the name change nonsense and starts treating his customers properly I will buy another pass even if
I can't get to all games. Meanwhile Inwill, li,e a lot of others are going to do, pick and choose my games.
I will end with a lighthearted, jovial response about being a fan in December every year I have been attending.
Incidentally, what is your definition of a "real fan".

The policing at the Man Utd game was a joke!

Once again, the North Stand fans were held back outside the ground while the away fans were free to roam wherever they wanted - but instead of the usual line of stewards, it was a line of police officers who were clearly hellbent on trying to intimidate home fans into causing trouble.

Me and my mate were stood in our usual spot waiting for the away fans to pass, so we could finally make our way back towards the city centre, as well as waiting for our friend to come out as he'd nipped to the bog. A policeman came up to us and said "move!" - we said "we're just waiting for our friend to come out the loo". He said "I don't care" and started to push me. I said "Why are you touching me?" - he said "I can do what I want, I've told you to move, now do it!" - we said "we've already told you, we're waiting for our friend!".

At this point an old bloke (who clearly hadn't seen the 'blockade' by police) who was minding his own business, was casually walking towards the city centre when the police officer talking to me and my friend stuck his arm out, stopped the old bloke and said "other way!" - he said "what do you mean? I need to go this way" - the policeman said "I don't care, you need to go the other way" - the old bloke said "but I'm bad on my feet and need to go this way", the policeman said "well, you'll just have to walk round". I said "so what about people who need to go to the city centre?" - He said "You go that way" (pointing towards Walton street), I pointed towards the city centre and said "but the city centre is that way". He said "Tough! ...and I've told you once, now get moving". My friend then said "That's f**king ridiculous, it's not like you own the footpaths!"

Another police officer then came charging in, grabbed my friend, poked him in the chest and said "swear one more time and I'll bang you up, sunshine!". My friend said "Hang on a minute, you're saying you'll lock me up for swearing, surely you can't do that? and why the hell are you poking me?" He responded with "I can do what I like". I said this is ridiculous and made a verbal note of his badge number, to which he ran off with his tail between his legs.

For those that have renewed - watch out next season, these 'Yorkshire derbies' will be used to justify the heavy-policing (in other words, the Premier League cash-cow isn't here again, so they need an excuse to squeeze more money from the club).

Sure. I know all that. That's why I knew you'd know I was just having a laugh. Just like you know I know that you know I do go to games in Dec just not the Boxing Day or New Year's Day ones and occasionally an earlier in December ones.

Don't let me down. I thought you had a self depreciating sense of humour unlike PLW who is just a narrow minded obsessive prick.

A real fan is someone who supports the club. Everyone has personal limitations but that's ok. My dad for example hasn't been to a game for 5 years. He's still a real fan.
