I meant that he was good for us, but he's been rubbish since he left. So he probably made the right choice career wise. I bet he's on like 40k+ a week?
Not what I was told. Soon as Arsenal came in he kept on until he got his move. I remember a reporter saying the same.
Shaw was promised a move to Utd by Cortese, if he signed a new contract and staid an extra year, which he did ( He could have moved to Utd before he played one game for us). So Shaw is great haha.

"Rubbish" or because "they've only got a short career, blah, blah, blah" as it gets stated on here time & time again. Personally I'm at total odds with that when they will earn more money in 1-2 years PL football than almost all of us on here will in even a fairly successful lifetime.
Edit: Maybe they're all just greedy & have lost real life prospective whilst living the "champagne style" life of a PL footballer (and probably a couple of lower divs as well).

So we've gone from "won't sell Fonte without a replacement lined up" to "don't have anything lined up, and may not replace"? That's a dangerous game heading into a summer where we're probably going to lose VVD.
