Well we have a lot of fans wanting us to be bringing youth through.... This should only happen of course, if they are good enough. (finding out if they are good enough can be tough though).
We have always said there is a difference between bringing through youth gradually, nurturing them into the side. Or relying on them.
I still think we will bring in some experience, but to rely on Stephens even for half a season, when we are playing as we are seems ridiculously risky.
I guess the staff obviously trust in Yoshida much more than I do.
McCarthy deserves a chance to be back up rb/cb next year.

I think he picked up an injury sat on the bench last night. When the final whistle blew, it startled him and he woke up suddenly - I think he probably pulled a muscle.
Well "sky sources" reported we had a bid rejected and "sky sources" pretty much is just common knowledge that they pretend they've found out. Perhaps we are running the risk of using Stephens as cover, I think you need 4 CB's anyway so we should bring one in.

Stephens would be third choice center back. We only rely on him to step up if necessary and not to play every game. And if he's not capable of that, what is he doing in the squad in the first place? He should be on loan somewhere.
A guy on Twitter there was furiously defending Jose, saying he heard from someone very close to him that there weren't any contact offers and that Les was "lying as usual". When I suggested that this was in my opinion a steaming pile of horse s*** he told me that Les Reed must have his c*** jammed firmly up my a**. Delightful. I told him I had to leave the debate because I was having lunch with Paul Rideout's carpet fitter.
Regardless of who's fault etc., it doesn't look too good on the club that our captain would rather be anywhere else than play for us.
