Fonte Absolutely ****ing useless

I was proud of the team today, although on my long drive home I was getting wound up thinking about the press reports saying how badly Man Utd had played and not how well we had! All in all guttered that we didn't hold out but bloody proud all the same. Surprised by the substitutions as we were well on top just think its a shame that when we were on top we tried to walk it into the goal.....still we will be ok
 
Well, looking in the detail at the specifics of the thread title; Fonte;

Dropped a division to join us in League One
Part of the squad which has just completed back to back promotions.
Player of the year two years ago I seem to remember? Not sure, certainly a candidate.
Played in three games this season, two of them against the best sides in the Premier league.

On balance the assessment seems a bit harsh.

Indeed it is. I actually find him quite a capable CB, and he will get better.

I wouldn't worry too much. The majority at the game applauded the team off as it was patently obvious just how well we played.

You keep posting this and that Adkins Is rubbish because he hasn't signed replacements for them. Could you do ma favour please and post the list of players that Nigel showed you he tried to Sign?

You haven't seen the list of players Nigel tried to sign? Wow. I assumed you had and that there were no left sided defenders on that list and hence you had drawn the conclusion that Nigel didn't want to replace any of our current defenders.

By the way, anyone notice the little dig in Nigel's interview about expensive defenders?

Yes I noticed the bit about the expense of defenders , irrelevant though as some think NA / NC have not tried to sign anyone eh ?
