I know I'll be in a minority, but I usually use it to find songs I've never heard. I'll always click on a vid if I've never heard of that song. Usually I'll put the songs posted into Spotify and do some searching on the recommeded tunes it gives me in return. Helps find loads of new music. Oh, and for Spiritualized - that album came out the same day as OK Computer by Radiohead, fantastic day for music.
Bit harsh there Carmine - unless I'm the exception to your rule ? I listen to everything on these threads if I've never heard of the artist, and many of those I have heard before. There's nowt better than learning summat new, or being reminded of stuff you have forgotten. I listen to everything that I post before sticking it up, always - and same as quilly if I see anything i don't know I'll have a listen to it ......... and if I like it ...... happy days!
