Yeah, they did, but they were something different with Buckingham and Nicks. Worth knowing about and listening to.
Ah yes - I never stopped buying their stuff through all their reincarnations - each line-up having something special to bring to their history. The engine ( Fleetwood & McVie (John) always remained. Quite an amazing story really. I was lucky enough to see (live) the early versions and the bands/groups they played for/associated with before they became Peter Green's F.M. - Mayall, Graham Bond, Alexis Korner, Chicken Shack, LJ Baldry (Hoochie Coochie Men, Steampacket),Brian Auger etc etc. Just such a wonderful time for music innovation in the UK. So many of them are still at it too.
