A meritorious attempt with 2 from 4. 1st is Frank Sinatra and last is the really hard one - Johnnie Ray. Sammy Davis was of course a legend in the impressionist field, way ahead of Billy.
Thanks for no.4, Mrs BMB, I'd never have got that - I might have done had he sung that great song 'Just Walking In The Rain' though!
Also, unless you knew about his early appearances, where on stage he tore at his hair, cried and fell to the ground. The song you mention was his greatest hit in the UK pop charts being at N01 for about 2 months.Must be worth a listen!
Great song - I remember it well, the other stuff, falling over etc was just a bit before my time. Every day's a school day though, thanks.
Spoke to a OAP on Friday who sent off £164 plus postage for a foot massager advertised in the Daily Mail ( not the Hull one). Black Friday special etc etc,. It was nothing more then a hot water bottle when it arrived and I'd value it at less then a fiver. The forms to send it back were impossible to decipher and there was no guarantee if and when you would get your money back plus this dodgy firm now has all he old gal's bank details. Its nothing more then legalised robbery. Cheats charter.
