. Go to 4th minute.Dad, a Liverpool fan, died a couple of months before I was born and I was at this event singing the Anfield Anthem. Atmosphere was electic and unforgettable.
Looks like there are more Liverpool fans than kangaroos in Oz !
I just checked the date of the game out of interest to determine the reason for the game - seems it was a pre-season warm-up match for LFC - Man United also were doing the same at the time (in Oz). The Melbourne/Liverpool game was actually played on my birthday (Toronto time + 14 hours). My youngest nephew lives in Melbourne and is a big Liverpool fan. Next time I talk to him, I'll have to ask him if he attended the match?
