I'm surprised, Swords, that you're bothered. I'd have thought it'd be water off a ducks back. I doubt anyone's opinion of your character would be swayed by flyers' posts about you. You give it out in your way, which is classic, you gotta take it however it comes back, his way, until it goes too far of course - I haven't read flyers' posts you're referring to. If there really is an issue, why don't the 2 of you just agree to leave each other alone - ignore. It would be a shame though - the Swords and Flyer show is one of many really entertaining elements to this board.

I propose that Swords come with the rest of us Irish R's for the Southampton match and he and Flyer do ten rounds in the ring until one or both drop. Can you London based R's arrange a place to have this fight? Thanks in advance.

Talking of Batman Close, the last time I was down there was the midweek match against Millwall a couple of years ago. I thought there was going to be murders. Hundreds of very dodgy looking lads walking in all directions, from both sides, I think. I had the head down, was afriad to look towards anybody and headed straight for the tube station. South Africa Road had so many coppers on it in riot gear. It was like a war not a footie match. Anybody remember it?

I seen footage of that on Youtube. The Millwall fans were giving it loads. Didn't they meet W Ham in the Cup a few weeks after that and wreck the whole place around Upton Park?
