Wouldn't go as far as saying he 'toyed' with him.... but his strength & boxing nouse showed through in the end!
Guts & bravery will only take you to a certain level... as McGregor just found out!

Fitness won, what a disappointment that McGregor wasn't conditioned for 12 rounds. He was ****ed after 6. They should have let Floyd put him to sleep.

Well i decided to try and sit up for it.
At 1.30am i started to get hungry so i decided to make a Fish finger sandwich and thats the last thing i remember.
My lass was woken up with a house full of smoke and gave me a (not very nice) rude awakening at 5am cause i nearly burnt the house down.:emoticon-0120-doh:

<laugh> I told the same thing a few years ago Tees.

New Year's Eve, half a massive packet on the grill, a smoke filled house and a few hours of drunken sleep!

Not that funny really. Could've died! <doh>

Yeah i watched it inbetween the smoke and i wish i hadnt bothered.
You cant become a profesional boxer in 4months nevermind beat one of the best boxers of all time at his own game. Like others curiosity got tbe better of me though so i bought it.
Id love to see Mayweather step in a cage with Connor now. Hed last about 30 seconds.

I think McGregor has been given far to much credit for his performance. He looked sloppy and clumsy, and the amount of times he was hitting him around the back of the head was embarrassing.

    Never happening.

I can see him maybe perhaps lining up another payday vs Saenchai I'm sure Macau would set something up there for big money.

Totally agree, his boxing skills were terrible. ANY above average boxer would have beaten him, and a big puncher would annihilate him. Remember, Floyd hasn't knocked anyone out for a decade and would clearly have done so but for the ref prematurely (imo) stopping the fight.
I hope this is the end of 'mixed style' contests for good!

Absolutely! A boxer would be destroyed in an MMA fight and an MMA fighter would be beaten every time in a pro boxing match - which is why the 2 should stay separate!

Floyd didn't even try, he done none of his usual defence with the shoulder roll etc and just done standard guard with his gloves up walking towards Conor. When has he ever done that? He fought like he was fighting an amateur fighter, he even said straight after the fight that he put on a good show.

That can never be allowed to happen again. 'Conor done great by going 10 rounds' ha, Conor went 10 rounds because Floyd let him.
