    Well, it has allowed me to return.....the site would not allow me back in about 6 months ago and all confirmation emails did not send and all my contact just did not get sent....until today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.lost all my posts, likes but the name stays the same...Im back..l

    Just deleted best part of 700 emails out of my Spam folder from the site - all arrived overnight, back to early 2016 I think. Hopefully thats it done for now.

    I don't appear to be getting the e-mails that many of you are - nope, my problem was different - our system crashed here and after I discovered couldn't sign in under the "mapleranger" name - the site directed me to go through Login but kept telling me I needed to choose another name since "mapleranger" had already been taken - o'course it had - it had been taken by me. The opportunity to sign in as an existing member- missing in action for 4 days was back. Maybe I was lucky as regards the e-mail flood. .

    Give in Sheff, resistance is futile. It's very moreish.

    I was very worried when the site went down, which I thought was permanent at the time, not so much for myself (I can give it up ANYTIME, UNDERSTAND? And the tremors will only last six months or so), but more for my oeuvre. 15,000 posts of wit, wisdom, humour, sensitivity, insight, erudition and downright magnetism would have been lost to future generations. Someone should archive my work, perhaps to some kind of cloud thing, to reduce this risk.

    Same guy yes.....I think it was 40 YOH mostly before!!! Its now about 45 YOH in reality supporting this lot......
