    Happening to some people but not others, according to the Mods board.........................strange.
    I'm still sitting it out...seeing how far it will go.
    But it is taking its toll...as I am deleting about 100 alerts an hour

    Beth, to me it look like the reboot of the server/website has fixed a few bugs I have noticed of late. I noticed a lack of new members joining over the last year or so. A friend of mine tried to join but never got a confirmation email, he tried to register three times but could not get his log on password confirmed. I looked into this for him as I know a thing or two about maintaining websites and he was doing nothing wrong.

    We now have a new member Bruno (welcome to the forum:emoticon-0148-yes:) since yesterdays fix of the website being down. I think you will keep getting a years worth of backlogged emails being a forum moderator so will just have to grin and bear it unfortunately <doh>

    Sorry, that will be the ten songs I know and keep posting 100+ times notifications<whistle>

    Seriously, if anyones in box is getting flooded with old not606 updates/past notifications and want it to stop then I suggest marking any not606 emails up as spam. This will not stop the flood but will move these annoying emails from flooding your inbox. The mails will go straight into your spam folder. Worth doing until the backlog subsides imo<ok>
