I think you'll find that when the Poyet regime was kicking in and taking charge Fletcher was injured or coming back from injury so it's natural that Jozy would figure more. Another fact, 50 odd games in the EPL and Jozy has score 2 goals, ****e record by anyone's standards.

I think you'll find that I put the number of appearances in the op and said make of it what you will <doh>

Plus that's not a fact at all as '50 odd' isn't even a number <laugh>. It's 2 goals in 52 in EPL Games, if you're going to pull me on my stats then at least get your own correct that way you don't look lazy as well as nitpicky. <doh>

We are into the business end of the season now. In my opinion we have to nail our mast to Fabio. The guy has scored us goals when needed mainly from the left so lets keep him up top like he was against City. His movement is non stop and that makes him very difficult to play against. I think even at my age of 57 I could have more movement than Fletcher and Altidore. Both Altidore and Fletchers confidence is shot and this aspect of the game is crucial for a forward. We can't carry any passengers over the next few weeks and the time is past for any more excuses. Disappointed Wickham is still not in the squad. Scocco isn't fit and I don't think we can allow him much play time going forward. So lets hope Fabio doesn't get injured however if either Fletcher or Altidore are called upon I would expect them to show hunger and desire to put things right.....if not haul them off straight away.

Look mate, at my age and after too much red wine little things like that don't mean much. :) Fact is, Jozy isn't scoring goals and Fletcher is just as bad, thank **** for Borini otherwise we'd be well ****ed.

Busy? hectic I'd say mate, we need a total rebuild of the midfield for starters plus a couple of decent strikers, try to secure some loan deals like Alonso & Borini for a second term hopefully. Just hope Ellis has seen enough of Gus to back him significalntly.

Could be down to 4 senior defenders as well.

    Brown, JoS, Roberge and Diakite.

Was thinking about this. Have we won a league game this season when Altidore hasn't played? One for the op.

Aye and two of them are probably in their last season realistically. I reckon Bardsley will sign and so will Colback, would bust the bank to keep Ki and Borini and even Alonso, lets just hope Ellis and Guis feel the same way.

Think Swansea would want £5m for Ki and id pay that without hesitation especially after watching us without him on Sunday.

Fiorentina I reckon would want around £3m for Alonso. We know what we're getting and we could throw Diakite in the deal to knock the price down.

Borini.....I think Liverpool would want over £10M. I know he's flavour of the month but he has only 3 league goals in 14 starts and 6 sub appearances. In the cold light of day is he a £10m player?

I mentioned when you were about to sign Fletcher that he's a natural finisher, he's got the qualities to be a predator but I think he reads the game a second too slow. He needs the ball to feet (or head) rather than making intelligent runs. I think under O'Neill the system suited him more, he knew where the ball was coming from and going to be and he thrived but Gus' philosophy might not be right for Fletcher. I think Borini is doing well under this system and I think he should really be a target of yours for a permanent signing in the summer.

I think it will be hit and miss on bardo, We ain't going to pay the same wages to him again so we'll need to Offer more than the other clubs are offering, Once he realises he isn't going to get anywhere near the wage he wants anywhere then I'm sure he'd rather stay put. Same Applies to any player who wants to renew except Colback which is a different situation because he's on his first professional contract and is on very low wages.
