I've lost it twice but get it back OK. Disgraceful performance so far. Is there anyone to replace Winfield before he gets sent off? Against 10 men surely Harris and Ibe should have a field day. But haven't seen anything of Harris so far. I can see why we are down the bottom of L1. I think we would be some way down L2 also.
theres always tunnicliffe :/.... heres the stream i used, it hasent broken down! http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/91423/1/watch-fleetwood-town-vs-wycombe-wanderers.html
Agreed Ron, I can see why you are struggling now - it is pretty shocking and I don't like saying that!
Outplayed by 10 men from non-league. They deserved their win, they were the better side. We will be relegated and we won't come back up. Fairly confident prediction unless there are 4 more teams in L1 full of bigger please log in to view this image s Sorry but I am well and truly pissed off by that performance. Ibe was the only striker with any clue and will to score. An embarrassment to L1. As for Rendell, was he fit?, or even interested? Get me a please log in to view this image quick.
seriously pissed off by that result and performance. flletwood are very good but we seriously need to step it up if we are to stay up. we need to get some confidence back into the team and need to prove we have it in us to stay up on the plus side, bull was excellent, as was ibe
Been there. Done that. Forget and move on guys - Mangan did us in a pre-season friendly against Forest Green a couple of seasons ago, two beautiful goals and a top-class performance - best player on the pitch. I'm certain that if it hadn't been for his little bookie-related ban, he'd be quite happily installed in a Championship side. Get back to the league and get stuck in.
there is something seriously wrong with the squad no fight no consistency and no ambition,an appalling result, something has to be done about this.has waddock lost it because it doesnt seem like the players are interested.
It all depends how you look at it. Either we get rid of Waddock, pay him off, and gamble on getting another manager who, with the players and resources available, will not keep us in League 1. There is another way. Keep Waddock for a few seasons - whether we drop to the conference or get to the Championship - and see if we can nurture a great manager. Hopefully ownership will have changed hands by then (Hayes will not be in this for the long haul) and there may be more funds or possibilities with the resources we have. **** performance today, but overall this doesn't affect what I think should be the long term plan. And Jenny, I have a horrible 'bypass' feeling this season.
I am truly disheartened at the way we seem to be playing at the moment but getting rid of Waddock is not the answer. As ChairboyJock says, getting in another manager would be a massive gamble at this stage and one that would surely end in our relegation. Hayes needs to give him some funds for a decent loan signing AT LEAST in the January transfer window - we need a Mooney style striker to spark some life into our forward line - Ibe and Harris are great prospects but they are simply too young to be expected to get us out of this. New faces needed and soon or we will go down - simple as that.
Victor Chandler are offering 5/4 for Wycombe to be relegated. That looks an outstanding bet at present (all other bookmakers go odds on). I say compensate for some of the misery by taking what seems to be a marvellous betting opportunity. If you lose your money I'm sure you won't be upset.
