I think the term “evening it up” was in the refs mind. It was a definite pen though

if only we had been more clinical today, three points were ours

2 draws and 1 win, last 3 games... not like us to have lots of draws?

Seems like if we can get a goalscorer we'll rack up the points, amazing how well we've done (relatively speaking) considering we've got no CFs capable of scoring in any way regularly.

As per many above, the players are now playing for manager & club. Respect to Parky for having the nuts to go offensive with his subs. He can't do much about our inability to hit the target, but he has us set up to have a real go. Finishing practice clearly needed..... or a new striker & AM who can hit the onion bag regularly. I'd have a lot of confidence surging up the table if we can get some goalscorers.

I think we should just look at winning whatever the next game is . Seems we spent all last season talking about where we’d be when we won games to be played later- ended up getting very little from them

Looks like Ref Mark Halsey thought so too.

I would say if it was not for poor finishing. Mind I aint been to any of the games, just going off commentaries.

Im one of those who never uses refs decisions as an excuse for not winning....................swings and roundabouts etc...

    By the way **** VAR

You win some............. you lose some

Poor wyke is a marked man every time he touches a player they get a free kick, and we should have had a 2nd penalty after the Watmore one, gooch missed an unbelievable chance though in the 2nd chance, 4 points from these games is ok but the Burton and Bolton games done us. I hope Parky gets a striker in hopefully Toney, give Peterborough McGeady, Grigg and £3m.

Maguire should have scored and Wyke was very unlucky with a header hitting the inside of the post. O’Nien also should have scored

the encouraging thing is watching the amount of chances we are creating and the bodies getting in the box

That's right mate. The old cliche 'take one game at a time' is definitely applicable. Lets keep this unbeaten run going and see where it takes us.

Amazing isn’t it. He’s got a side who look like they want to play for him and us and we’re playing ok. Just not hitting the net. I’m much happier with Parkinson recently. Still “one swallow” and all that but much more promising

Taken from Facebook. Did anyone at the match today witness this?

Created more chances than I’ve seen for some time. Unbelievably a lot of the crowd where we were stood moaned all the way through, even having pops at the players in the warm up. Bad element of supporters seems to be getting bigger.

“After a spell of head tennis in the Sunderland box, Josh Morris was felled by Charlie Wyke's stray arm, leaving Ched Evans to coolly slot home his eighth goal of the season.”

what the **** is this bullshit! Sky in cahoots with the refs? Why not just say “the ref saw something nobody else did and somehow gave a penalty “
