A disappointing start to the New Year and a very flat performance in front of a decent home crowd. Recent games seem to have taken the zip away though Norburn looked lively in the first half and Sadler and Waterfall were very steady at the back. The games against Fleetwood always seem to be terrible and they were just as poor as us in the final third. Some fresh legs in Angol and Gillihead did liven things up a bit at the end but it was probably the easiest game both keepers will have all season. Lets hope the Stoke scouts were watching as it might lull them into a false sense of security for Saturday. I would like to see Angol given his chance to start in that game and also like to see Morris come in assuming he is not cup-tied from his loan.

it was ponderous ,predictable and boring, high balls for most of the game which results in ferjiri getting virtually no possession, dreadful distribution it was like watch peters team at there worst. we seem to have gone backwards
