Flat Earth and Other Theories

@luvgonzo Gotta admit, the flat earth theory does raise some interesting questions all the same, even if one doesn't buy it at all.

At the equator, you are moving seriously fast but gravity keeps you on the ground, yet the same gravitational force at the poles, but far slower rotation, seems to make no difference. I never looked into why its like that, I don;t think its cos the earth is flat, but am interested in an answer

I actually did the experiment with a string and a ball, and you fly off the equator well before you fly off near the pole.
So, the gravitational force should be greater near the pole, in my basic model, and it isn;t.

Never really found an answer to this simple question.

I think we move at 1000kph at the equator
Right at the north pole (center of rotation, not geographical) you are traveling at 0

I'd buy that if, as I do suspect, gravity is merely EM-like force at sub atomic level, which would explain why its weak.
