Fixtures

We had what looked on paper as a reasonably decent run Jan/Feb last year where we were optimistic at picking up points and it didn`t happen, which drained the confidence even more.

Seems like no matter what the run is we`ll find a way to cock it up.

 

Aye....and also to be able to print them to a credit card size for my wallet please ?

 

That sort of proves my theory. Although we picked up a few more points than I expected before xmas, thanks to some draws against some decent sides, we were still on the fringes of relegation. By the time the 'must win' games came along the pressure of winning these games maybe became too much for the management and players. When losing a 'must win' game the next 'must win' game becomes much more 'must winnable', lose that one then how much wood would a would chuck chuck if a wood chuck would chuck wood!

Happy enough with all them tbh ...... good easy trip for the first and a good Sunday down at Watford for the last.

I'll be trying to get to Bournemouth for the weekend with or without tickets.

 

Happy with that. A good start could give confidence in the harder games. Its good having the decent teams come up here in the freezing cold too as a lot of the "stars" don't do well away from home in the cold NE wind.

We need to get signings in early to take advantage of the good first run of fixtures.

 

On the point of home and away for opening/last/boxing day fixtures -- seems they're not being shared alternate seasons, sure they used to be.

Target has to be 23 points by the Beginning of December looking at the fixture. With 7 points from the first 4 games
