Your quite right, they will be allowed back in, which to me is a obscene decision considering the state of the club (what club, is it the same club now?). But, the other SPL clubs cannot live without them. What a sad state of affairs.
I wonder if "team 12"'s fixtures are opposite to those of Celtic. I.e Are team 12 away when Celtic at home and vice versa. If the SPL is anything like the EPL then two rivals from the same city can't play at home on the same day due to policing etc. It may give an indication as to what the outcome of the vote will be.
Exactly, they must show due process but the SPL can't survive without the revenue Rangers fans bring to it. Not to mention the Sky deal which will look decidingly dodgy if there is no Rangers (in whatever guise).
I sense most of us are just pleased to be back, as against worrying about the rteams we will be facing. Regarding Rangers. I wish the SPL would kick them out as then surely the ten + 1 would all have a better chance of gaining a year in Europe the following season.
As some have already pointed out, the Boxing day fixture is likely to be against a more local side - Reading, London etc. Also it assumes that the first and last game could both be either home or away. This won't happen, doesn't sound a massive difference but actually halves the odds. Also certain rounds of fixtures are always reversed so we'll never play the same team on the first and last fixtures etc, again halves the odds. Still impressive if anyone can guess all 38!
I would love to get City at home and then to see J Rod show them why we bought him. Beating the current champions wouldn't be that bad a start would it???
We'll play you in Soton in August because I want a trip to the seaside, and you can play us in Swansea in April - probably the best time to visit the Gower Coast
Just wondering how many new "threads" will appear on the same subject! The mods will be in overdrive if we don't keep it sensible.
Just wandered onto PL site and there we are with our web page. Not much more than general info, but the form bit was active so I opened it. They have only listed the results from our relegation season...now that is just plain cruel.
