I can’t see a ‘difficult’ period. Seems an even spread to me.

If fans aren’t allowed in until Jan, we could have quite a few home wins under our belt :)

Annoyingly (for people who go away) Leeds, Arsenal and Man u away are all midweek. Brighton, Villa and Wolves (all good away games) are also before mid-December when there's unlikely to be away fans. Who knows when fans might be back in full.

Last six games include City and Liverpool away, then Leicester home, before three nicer looking games in our push for Europa qualification!

Spurs away is also on the same day as the FA Cup quarter finals, so there is the potential for that to be rearranged to midweek.

Heard from a friend who works in the lower leagues that it’s likely that it will be agreed no away fans for all of next season.

We could have a very entertaining end to the season

May 8 Liverpool (a) - Saints win at Anfield to make Man City champions
May 12 Fulham (h) - Fulham relegated
May 15 Leeds United (h) - Leeds relegated
May 23 West Ham United (a) - West Ham relegated

On a linked topic, do you think that there will be any fans for any of our matches, for the foreseeable future? I'm aware of fans being allowed into grounds for top-level rugby union games in NZ, but there seems to be remarkably few sporting events with any spectators. I believe that they allowed some spectators into watch the snooker, but that isn't likely to result in people hugging each other when another red gets potted.

I've heard rumours of 20% to 50% attendance being allowed, with priority given to STHs, no away fans, and marshalled entrances and exits. Are we (ever) likely to get a genuine atmosphere at any home (or away) game? Throw in the lower league grounds where terraces still exist for standing, and the requirement to Social Distance becomes impossible to police.

TBH, it did Saints no harm to play in empty stadia, so we might do very well, but we won't see anything, 'live', and the only singing will be in my head.

We had fans in NZ until the recent reappearance of the virus. Took my nine year old to his first rugby game last month. It’s all over now though and the finals were in empty stadia.
