Next Monday sees the new season fixtures published.

Usually we'd all be looking out for when the home games with Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, etc are - I guess this coming season we'll all be looking out for Aston Villa (h) now.

Apart from these, which games are we all looking forward to next year - QPR could be a bit spicy given recent history couldn't it ?
 
You won't have to look too far for Villa at home, it'll be right near the top, if not the first fixture.

From a personal point of view I'll be looking for the Newcastle game as they're the only side in the Premier League I haven't seen play
 
Although PL left under a cloud, I just hope no-one boos him when he returns to Carrow Road but you can guarantee some will. The MAIN reason I say this, is that PL would love it. Remember when he went back to Col Who ? He was roundly booed and jeered throughout and he bloody loved every minute of it, (mind you so did we at the time ;)). Let's just hope we beat Villa then we can give him both barrells after <laugh>
 
That was because the Col Who fans are stupid and they and the chairman can't let these sorts of things go. We, as fans are much better than that and he left Norwich on much better terms.
 
as an exile, 'local' away fixtures, so Reading, Saints, Fulham and QPRaagh

always fancied a trip to Villa park, this will have an added edge next season. Also WBA

guess we will get Spurs over xmas again

The answer to that is "Because WE rightly elected him to our Hall of Fame, and anyone who we have honoured in that way should always be warmly received on returning to Carrow Road". <ok>
 
Looking forward to playing Saints again.

I still love the day the fixtures come out, imaging all the great games.

Last year I went through them and really couldn't see where our points were going to come from.

This year a few of them will look a bit more winnable.
 
As long as we can beat Villa then politely ask PL what the score is. I'd also love the opportunity to chant "you're going down with the rangers" but I doubt that this will come to pass.
 
I just hope to see what we could possibly consider a winnable game to kick the season off with (home to almost anyone that finished in the bottom half of the league last season would do, or one of the newly promoted sides).

The last thing I want to see is the top 4-5 being played close together at any stage of the season.

I remember looking at last season's fixtures and thinking that wi be very tough especially along with the fact that we would most likely be fighting relegation. But I would say most Norwich's were surprised that we were pretty much safe by the time those games came around and we also got good results against Tottenham, Arsenal and Villa (they turned out being a weaker team than I originally thought though) so while a group of hard fixtures together would be difficult we have shown we can cope with it.
 
Hope we have some winnable games early on. After beating QPR on the opening day Bolton never recovered from the tough run of games they had at the start of the season (including losing to the mighty canaries!)
 
We had the rub of the green fixtures wise last season,maybe this time we wont be so lucky.Still we took 13 points from the first twelve games,a scoring rate I would hope we might match this time.I think looking at our results after those first twelve I would have extrapolated maybe 36 points for the season.We ended up far better.

extrapolated ? bloody hell CT that's a big word for a Tuesday lunchtime, is it a word ? <laugh>
