Murdock rules the (air)waves! I remember seeing the first televised match. I recall it was on a Friday. Cn't rmember what year. Wanderers i.e. Trotters were playing and whom?
Actually, the first televised march were internationals in 1937. The first of League teams was Huddersfield vs PNE but those matchs could only be seen by a few.
In the 'modern' times it was the Lashers vs Trotters in 1960. It must have been in September, 'cause I was home.
