Probably. Apart from Brighton though, and Walsall on the last day, I don’t remember anyone bringing more than a couple of hundred to St Mary’s? The entire population of Carlisle came to Wembley for the JPT, but they still fit in one section of the upper tier, just about Fond memories though. And the humour and atmosphere from our own fans was a hundred times better than it is now.
Seem to remember Brizzle (Rovers) filling it too, and surely a few London clubs brought 500+? Swindon too.
Probably. Leyton Orient brought a few, they were in with a shout of the playoffs I believe? Mostly I remember seeing vaste areas of empty seats in the Northam, and a handful of visitors, pretty much every week.
You must remember this? Definitely a full away end there... more than clubs like Leicester bring in the PL And yeah thinking about it, there's probably only about 8-10 clubs across the two years who managed more than a couple of hundred.
I've done both Tranmere and Rochdale grounds, Tranmere was a bundle of fun travelling to for a Friday night game! Positives both grounds welcoming. I think one of the best away fixtures for me in the lower leagues from a hospitality point of view with the locals was Notts County - lovely little pub down the road as well where home and away supporters mixed with no trouble. One of the worst a Burton pub i went into, the landlord was a complete nob head, lost loads of beer money that day when we walked out. Most killer journey for me was Fleetwood, after that day i swore never to go on a coach again.
Woking normally have 1200-1800 including a handful of away fans. There are going to be 5500 including 1200 Watford fans on 6th. Place will be chaos!
Fleetwood on a coach **** that for a laugh, hate coaches and couldn't cope with anything longer than a couple of hours so London/Brighton.
Youngsters are playing today aren't they? Be hard to leave them out after they beat the Champions And ****ing right I'm confident, I'm due seeing us win
