I've been keeping it quiet, but I have a sneaky feeling about this one too. 2-1or 2-0 to us I fear.

For the first time this season, I will not be watching (either in person, on line or via the forum...like last week when I was in the States)....therefore I predict...this is the weekend!!!!

It's my daughters dance recital this Saturday and it finishes half an hour into the match. If I'm lucky I will reach the start of the second half. And if this thread is anything to go by we better lead 2-0 when I come home! ;)
Typical me to jinx it though and we throw it away, 2-2. First win to come against Fulham :) :) :)

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is set to be without four central defenders for tomorrow's key Barclays Premier League clash with QPR at the DW Stadium.

Antolin Alcaraz (groin) and Ivan Ramis (hamstring) are injured while captain Gary Caldwell and Maynor Figueroa are both suspended after the Football Association rejected Wigan's appeal against the latter's red card in Monday's 3-0 defeat by Newcastle.

The Latics also have other injury problems, with midfielder Ben Watson (broken leg), wingers Albert Crusat (knee) and Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) and playmaker Shaun Maloney (groin) all sidelined.

Provisional squad: Al Habsi, Pollitt, Beausejour, Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Kone, Boselli, Gomez, Jones, McManaman, Fyvie, Lopez, Stam, Di Santo, Golobart.

There for the taking Norway me old mate.

You certainly are being optimistic, a win and for us to score more than 1 goal in a game!

Perhaps our team spirit will be back after a lengthy absence for this game

    Hi mate.

I realise that, an away win, a clean sheet? And more than one goal! It's got to happen soon. If not tomorrow, when?

Think it was Keith Scott. Terry Fenwick played for them and I had the worst drive home after the game with my brother in law - Swindon fan

    Cheers <ok>

Was sure he scored against us that season, maybe it was at LR then?

By the way, that drive must have been terrible, can just imagine him getting his first win and let you hear it all the way home.

The drive was back to Bristol so it was only an hour of "enjoyment". Can't remember who scored at LR but fjortoft sounds right.

Pity that wigan dont be without four center forwards and four center midfielders too. Then we might have a real chance to win........

Sorry if this is bad taste to bring up this thread. Second week in a row I have predicted the correct score and all. I'm as frustrated as the next one, but it will come, the win.

So, put your mortgage on us beating Fulham. It is going to happen, first win to come against Fulham. It won't be pretty but it will be three points. I've seen it, trust me. U R's!

Hope you are right Norway. Probably has nothing to do with it but no Fulham connections next week. No AJ, BZ or MH. Two ex-Spurs managers though!
