Apparently the Norwegians and Danes are not best buddies, so based on that generalisation Cornelius will be gone... On a serious note, for £8 million or whatever was agreed for him Cornelius should be starting now. He has recovered from his injury. I am surprised how poor he has looked when I saw him.
You're right Taff - both the Norwegians and the Swedes don't take to the Danes generally. I experienced it first hand during a couple of short spells working in both those countries. Never been to Demark so can't say if the feelings are reciprocated.
As you also say, seriously that generalisation should have no bearing on Solskjaer's assessmant as to Corney's future at the club - it's sink or swim time for him. Video clips suggest there is something there to work on, but £8M for a one season wonder in the Danish league looks a bit heavy.
If he's given a chance by Solskjaer to do it and actually does, we'll be singing a different song, but until then, Tan's £8m looks to have been wasted as far as this season goes.

In fairness to Cornelius, right now I agree 8 mill looks very heavy but he has to have a chance with a couple of wingers getting the crosses in for him. If the supply comes and the goals don't then I'll write him off but right now we haven't produced a single chance for him to miss.
Compare that to the supply line Bony gets and it's way to early to write him off.
He was a strange signing for MM as he seems in the Andy Carrol mould. As his time at Liverpool proved if you don't play the style that type of striker needs then all you're left with is a clumsy slow member of the outfield 10 who carries little threat.

This is true and possibly demonstrates a flaw in Malky's CV entry regarding team building.
If Corney hadn't been injured and was included in the side from the start, where was the supply going to come from? Not sure of the timings as they happened on this, but Ince and Montero were both on the cards to come to the club. Maybe the failure to attract either or both is a contributory factor in all this.
Having said that, we've had a demonstration lately of the effectiveness of a true wideman sending the ball across the face of the goalmouth rather than punting it straight up the pitch for defenders to gobble up. Noone should have figured a lot earlier this season. Conway being left out of the 25 man squad and Harris out on loan were possibly other mistakes given we failed to secure anyone else in their positions.
The same argument is aslo demonstrated with Mutch's superb surge and first time left foot cross from the edge of the box for Campbell's goal against Sunderland. It shows the value of turning defenders and getting them to run back toward their own goal rather than them always facing up the pitch.
Pont - Corney hasn't been written off - he hasn't been on the pitch nearly enough for anyone to come to that conclusion. I think it's more of a reaction to his sub appearances so far which may not be a true reflection of what could be to come - only time and trial will tell.
