As I have said before if Richardson and Dejagah stay the Greek left back signs I think we are there and ready to go. Many others are saying we still need a creative centre mid although I think Chris David could be a big player this season and buying an expensive player will not give him the chances he craves and we will probably lose him. As a solution how about re signing Karagounis as a player/coach think he would accept low wages and accept being a squad player for when the youngsters need a break
Id have Kara over Parker any day of the week. Can yiu email FM and tell him this is what the fans want Cookie.
I've got mixed feelings about him Cookie. In the U21s he was a bit of a "Billy Bollocks" and not a true team player. On the other hand if he'd been given a 1st team chance earlier than his 15 minutes of glory in the last game of the season, I believe his attitude would have been tempered somewhat and beneficially, he could have grown into a better player. I'm just not sure how it would work out if he's given a prime role in what will be a very new (and inexperienced) 1st team this season. He's also a tad injury prone. In my view Lasse Vigen Christensen is the better option. He's a cultured passer of the ball and reads the game well. Whatever, I'm sure we'll see both featuring.
Having watched Chris David many times at under 21 level, I have no doubt about his enthusiasm, my problem is his ability, and his attitude, giving the impression that he is a one man band, often to the frustration of those around him. Let us buy some class, and to the likes of David and others lets see you earn your place in the first 11. My concern is that we may become reliant on playing the bulk of our youngsters and if we find ourselves in a sticky position we would have to wait for the Jan window to consolidate.
