I was about to agree that he was too old and post a "here we go again" rant. I then remembered that Nelson was our best player last year. If we could get him on just a one year deal, probably worth a punt.

for every Nelsen, there's a dozen Zamora's or bosingwas. we should not sign him as we should be looking at the next four years rather than just next season.

Far better choice of leftback than Traore as long as we don't give him 3 years on £30k aweek. We all want to sign young players and im sure we'll get a few but Bridge is a perfect fit. We had 3 young leftbacks at the club last season 2 looked pretty poor and the other we have not even seen.

Seriously. If Harry's excuse for leaving is " I couldn't sign Wayne bridge " then he should really go. His leaving has been speculated for a while but I'm prepared to bet he's off and any excuse however lame will now do.

Not going to be a good summer I feel for us hoops fans.

TF publicly anmounces we aren't going to sign old and past it players. harry then says sign and old and past it player earning 90k a week or I quit. it doesn't take a genius to see this was all planned by him.

There's no way Reading would pay £90k a week for anyone so Bridge is probably on £30k max, doesn't auger well for the summer silly season and if Harry goes what manager with any serious ambition is going to want to take on our sinking ship? Then again, could it be that TF is trying to get Harry to quit to avoid a pay-off?...
