This March-foaled bay is the first foal of Dam Beautiful (Sleeping Indian), who is one of two Listed-placed winners out of the triple winner Nellie Melba (Hurricane Sky).

MOGHRAMA (Ire) chf ex Mythie (Octagonal) 240,000gns Tattersalls December Foal Sale by Shadwell Estate Co, consigned by Ballybin Stud.
By far the sire’s highest-priced foal of 2014 sold at public auction, this January-foaled chesnut, in training with Dermot Weld, is a half-sister to the Gr.3 winner Esentepe (Oratorio). Her dam is a half-sister to the French Listed winner Mytographie (Anabaa; dam of a Listed winner), and the seven Stakes winners under the third dam include the Gr.3 scorers Malaspina and Marshall.

Sir Prancealot won three of his six starts at two – his debut at Bath, the Listed National Stakes next time and the Gr.2 Flying Childers Stakes on his final outing. Also second in the Gr.2 Prix Robert Papin and a close fourth in the Gr.1 Prix Morny, he was retired to stud at the end of that first campaign. The son of Tamayuz is a half-brother to Listed scorer Nice Applause and is out of a juvenile Listed-winning daughter of Catrail. A winner six times from 22 starts over four seasons, Rajsaman landed Pattern races over 1600m at Longchamp (twice) and Saint-Cloud (twice), and was third in the Gr.1 Prix d’Ispahan and Gr.1 Prix du Moulin at four. Exceed And Excel – Accessories (Singspiel)
Stands at Dalham Hall Stud:
2016 fee £8,000

A chesnut son of Exceed And Excel, Helmet was a dual Gr.1 winner at two, landing both the seven-furlong Sires Produce Stakes and one-mile Champagne Stakes in April 2011. He was a top-flight winner again the following spring, reversing Gr.1 New Golden Rose Stakes form with Manawanui to beat him in the Caulfield Guineas. He is a half-brother to dual Gr.1 winner Epaulette and Gr.3 winner Bullbars and is an older full-brother of the Gr.2-winning filly Pearls. BATED BREATH
Dansili – Tantina (Distant View)

Juddmonte Farms’ homebred Bated Breath was a top of the ground specialist who won six races from three to five. His biggest win came in the five-furlong Gr.2 Temple Stakes, while his other victories were all over six furlongs, and he was a Gr.1 runner-up four times, including when beaten a nose in the Haydock Sprint Cup, a neck in Woodbine’s Natalma Stakes and half a length in the July Cup.
A Dansili half-brother to Gr.1 winner and young sire Cityscape, he is a son of the dual Listed winner Tantina (Distant View), his second dam is the US Gr.2 winner Didina (Nashwan) and his third dam is a Gr.3-placed Danzig half-sister to the Champion Xaar. The closest inbreeding in his pedigree is to Danzig, to whom he has 3x4 crosses, along with 4x5 duplications of Blushing Groom. His dam, sold by Juddmonte at the 2013 Tattersalls December Sale when carrying this colt, is a halfsister to the Dansili trio of Gr.1 winner Passage Of Time, Gr.2 winner Father Time and Listed scorer Continuum, as well as to Zamindar’s Gr.1-winning daughter Timepiece. The second dam is a half-sister to the Listed-winning dam of multiple Gr.1 winner Twice Over and the third dam is a Listed-winning half-sister to Khalid Abdullah’s 1992 Gr.1 Prix du Moulin victrix All At Sea.

DRAGON PULSE
Kyllachy – Poetical (Croco Rouge)
Stands at Irish National Stud:
2016 fee €5,000

Kyllachy’s son Dragon Pulse was a Gr.2 winner at two in the Futurity Stakes, after which he was second in the Gr.1 National Stakes and, at three, he won the Gr.3 Prix de Fontainebleau on his seasonal reappearance.
His Gr.3-placed dam is out of a half-sister to the 1998 Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes winner Hayil and last season’s winner of that race, Shalaa, also appears under the Listed-placed third dam.
His 83 first-crop progeny are out of mares by 67 different sires, with 24 from the Danzig sire line and 17 by Sadler’s Wells or his sons/grandsons. There are four out of mares by Danehill Dancer and three each out of daughters of Dansili and Green Desert.
