Barmy drain !
Someone started this thread before last season kicked off. Who will be the first championship manager out the door this season ? Last time i went for Sven. Close but no cigar. This time im calling Nigel Pearson. Malky Mackay would be my saver bet.

We are talking about 1st manager to be sack, after the season kicks off.
I've think Paul Jewell.
Don't think Colin will be there at kick-off, think he'll walk.

Keane @ Blackburn he has got a couple of good players in but I think he struggles to motivate them. Gone by november

First manager will go long before that unless there's something weird happens. Wouldn't be surprised to see at least one go in the international break at the start of September.

For who ever it was that said, is the start of the season the League season or you counting the League Cup games? (Yeah, I can see somebody going in the week between the games as well)

i am going to check out the odds on 3 managers being sacked by Christmas. Nigel Pearson, Owen Coyle and Paul Jewell. Steve Kean is the odds on to be no.1 for the sack.....but IF he was going to be sacked he would have been by now. Kean is far too well involved at Blackburn. Part of the scottish mafia that own the club it appears. Venkys are just a front, apparantly. ;)

Take your Pick from NP - OC - PJ. It will be close whoever goes first. Rank outsider for me is Darren Ferguson IF the posh get off to a poor start.
