    He's a good prospect but I doubt it'll happen.

    1) Spurs would not help us out with our recent troubles and their leap-frogging of us.
    2) We already have Agger, Skrtel, Coates, Carragher and Kelly at centre-back, never minding other young players.
    3) If it's a matter of style, Agger and Coates are good on the ball, Kelly is a safe right back so surely would be a good ball playing cente-back, Carra has no legs but is cool in possession (his problem is purely physical now). Skrtel has superpowers.

    Thought that was nonsense Rodgers seemed to imply that in the conference. Hope I'm right.

    Needs to be a back up striker surely! Wouldn't mind going in for Darren Bent or even Steven Fletcher if the price was right.

    As I mentioned on another thread, might as well go for Pogbenyak (sp) as he is available. Could see him signing on for Fulham again though.

    Few rumours going around that we're looking at Jordy Clasie, the young Feyenoord centre midfielder - hasn't hit the spotlight yet, so should be relatively cheap and not much other interest.

    Looks very much like a 'joe allen' type player (but alot better) who Rodgers liked at Swansea, neat on the ball, comfortable, picks out a good, early pass and looks forward. Presses well and not afraid to muck in with tackles.

    He's a proven goalscorer! Our problem last season is that no one could put the ball in the net consistently.

    PLEASE no one from the PL to compete with Carroll for the main striker role, theres no one even close to being good enough, and have we not learned PL/BRITISH players are MASSIVELY overpriced and of less quality

    I will eat my hat if LFC buy Fletcher or Bent, when we will probably have Rodgers,Segura and Txiki Beguristain on the "transfers commitee"




    The reason I said Muniain , is he ticks ALL the boxes of what we are lookin for,technically excellent,young,would be relatively good value( prob cost about £17m as most other big clubs seem to have other targets), plays wide in front 3, Rodgers plays a front 3,hes Spanish and it looks like we are gonna get Beguristain
