Isn't this just a summer soccer school to give the young 'uns something to do during the summer holidays.

They haven't actually renamed our junior teams Tigers FC have they?

I have said since day one of his campaign to change our name - go back and check by all means - that if he is ultimately successful the name Hull wont appear. He wants a team with no geographical tie in its name. Much like Juventus deliberately did and ergo 11 million people are registered as supporting the club across Italy and they are the best supported team in nearly every city, save for Florence, Rome and Turin.

The difference of course is that this happened a century ago and it wasnt throwing history away in the process....

Turin of course would be an interesting precedent, as the people of the city had another team with the city's name to support. Who would the people of Hull support?

Pathetic???? This forum is about opinions and debate! So here goes! Livermore is a very good player with potential to go a long way but 8 mil when everyone was saying 6 was high? Snoddy again a good player who's stated he wants out of Norwich we pay 7 mil? I didn't include ince in the overpaying statement because no one really knows his true value yet and if it's 3.5 then that's fine with me! I know we maybe have to pay more in wages to entice players to come here! But I don't think we should be paying clubs over the odds for the privilege! And the fact I put it was to emphasise the fact that ALLAM said he would run the club to benefit the shareholders! Like I say the forum is about opinions so to call a fellow fan pathetic for having a different view to yourself is........

What are you playing at man?

FFS don't mention Leicester and especially their signings or 'you know who' will hijack the thread, he usually does it anyway and certainly doesn't need such encouragement.

As for this Tigers FC kids football training malarkey.

My lad did it years ago when it had the catchy title of Hull City Football in the Community.

Over the years fewer kids attended the session in North Ferriby and I don't think they even run one now.

Maybe it 's just something new to try and regain interest but the way I read it is that it 's the name of the sessions where any kid can go along and not the name of the youth team itself.

The Mad Young Tigers of Hull City AFC should be the name of our youth team.

It's an interesting viewpoint. One big setback in that though is not only the location of Hull but the general view of the city, I couldn't see people flocking to Hull to watch. I don't know where Turin is in Italy or the prosperity to compare but I'm just going to assume it's in an easier location to reach and a more prosperous city and facts won't change my mind.

Don't we already have similar though with Arsenal? From flashy London, big super club, bla bla bla, fact of the matter is in this country 95% of people who don't support their local/family team support either Man U or Liverpool. In fact I'd challenge that that percentage is even higher. I know 3 Arsenal fans, 2 of those actually come from North London originally, only one is a plastic. Compared to the swathes of Manure/Liverplop plastics everyone knows.

If you really thought this then you should have posted a "Done One" thread.

Someone in the know reported he'd opened his wrists at Italy's World Cup exit.

What makes you think the team would stay in Hull? The very first mental, dumby spitting moment our owner had was to openly threaten to move the team out of Hull.

An MK Dons will never happen again in England. Oh I'm sure Allam would love to do all kinds of things but there's no way the FA will open themselves to the ridicule they received over the MK dons fiasco all over again. Just not going to happen.

No, it was when people started claiming that there was no blue on the England kit despite that fact that its there. I can see it. And then Macca - who is the worst human being i've ever encountered by the way - decided to commence listing every ****ing team in the world asking what colours were on their kits.

At that point I decided the Internet really was dead.

That makes it ok then. The whole world is doing it so we should keep on until we're buggered.

I don't class being over £100m in debt smart. Not at a club like City.

I don't think the current owner wants to move our club out of the area.

But subsequent owners may well do.

Why allow the door to be opened by making us a football franchise?
