No you didn't, you said and I quote... "The Barrow lands is ok but it's not a patch on the Apollo' Firstly there is no such place as the Barrow lands. It is the Barrowland. The Barrowland ballroom actually. Secondly, there is no such place as the Apollo. It doesn't exist ergo cannot be a better venue than the Barrowland which is the venue I think you were referring to when your idiocy led you to misname it. I hope this clears things up for you. I know you struggle these days with dementia so I will just leave it at that and hope you manage to grasp the fact through the fog of your mental inadequacy . Yer welcome.
Wasn't too impressed when he burned the tricolor, liked The Style Council though and thought you'd be a fan of one of their better songs My Ever Changing Moods!
I quite like Mozart, but most classical music gives my arsehole a headache. Maybe Rattle has a point, the **** hairdoed poncey twat The Damned, supported by The Adverts, Southampton Students Union, 1977 btw.
Unsurprisingly (to some) I am very fond of the harsh sweeping overtures of Richard Wagner. My neighbours in the tenement have also grown to 'appreciate' the uplifting orchestration invading (?) their lugholes!
My first gig was The Beach Boys at Wembley Arena, 1992. No Brian Wilson that day, but I've seen him many times since.
Yeah, don't mind a bit of Wagner, come to think of it. The bit with the helicopters in Apocalypse Now was his best work, I think.
Listening to The Specials at the mo,on More Specials after playing the first and although steaming thoroughly enjoyed them. Happy New Year and if it's any consolation the English weren't the worst and come Brexit you can always come over here and work in garages, kitchen porters, labourers etc
