The Cure are selling out stadiums across the planet and they've been around 40 years Oh, and I once had a beer with Sir Simon Rattle and he said Mozart was classical music for people who don't actually like classical music.
Who wants to go pay extorniate prices to go watch pensioners living off past triumphs. The only reason the Stones and McCartney are still going is because mugs like Eddie will still buy tickets for them. Rip off merchants charging rip off prices. If it wasn't for black music there would be no music. It is us that are an affront to their culture.
Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Jimi Hendrix and only one ' Temptation' still on the go; no many black guys left! Gary Clark Jnr. pretty good and Buddy Guy still truckin' along.
I mean how can you slag off bands for having a shelf life of less than ten years by comparing them to bands that haven't had a decent album in half a century. Madness I tells ya. Although they never had a decent album it has to be said.
And to totally back up my contention that modern bands and modern music is just as good as what went before here is a video from the young chaps playing at the next gig I shall be attending in February.
Really, I mean wow I never knew that. Stupid fat alky mess. 1985 ya tit was when it got demolished, what the **** has that got to do with anything. Now toddle off you supercilious ****.
