So the curtain finally falls on 2023/24 season with Wembley seeing two underdogs win, both in the FA Cup and the Championship playoff finals.

Congratulations to Southampton and commiserations to Leeds who, well, fell apart again!

As an aside, if we swapped Southampton's Armstrong for ours, do you think they might not notice?!

The rules are simple. Predict the first team we will play the weekend of 10th August, the start of the Championship season, and state whether it's home or away.

Duplicates don't matter as the earliest time stamped entry wins.

As with previous years, the main prize is the kudos of winning but I'm happy to buy the winner a beer or a hot drink if they happen to be at LR in the first home game or two.

The winner is revealed at 09:00 on 26th June 2024. Good luck!
