Was discussing this at work. Last season our first six matches resulted in 5 losses and 18 goals conceded with only 3 points from a home win against Villa.


So how do we all think we will fare this time?

Our first 6 are

WBA away
Sunderland home
Norwich away
West Ham home
Liverpool away
Palace home

I'm going for two home wins, one away win ( Norwich) and a draw. Losses at Liverpool and possibly West Brom. Gives us a total of 10 points.

maybe airing on the side of caution but you just never know with saints i have us down for 5 points but i wouldn't be surprised if we got 10+.

That is cautious. I can't see us losing to West ham at St Marys though...

Predicting a very different start to last year. 13 points from 6 games.
 
Ok i know i predicted a poor start and if we had that run of games say in November i would expect us to get a minimum of 10 points. I am concerned that we still seem unable to score as many goals as our play deserves. I am also concerned that with just over a week to go till the season starts we haven't addressed this problem. I fully expect us to sign a proven goal scorer and one that will fit in with MP and his style of play so its a shame that imo the first 6 will be too soon for him to make an impact.

You have your name wrong, its Bri IS a ****ing phallus judging by that post! No one has under estimated anyone just made a prediction. Why can't we back our own team against someone who finished right by us last season??
