First question is when do the official fixtures get released?

Secondly if you could cherry pick the first 5 games what would you pick and why?

Here are mine:

First Game: Manchester Utd (A) - The reason for this is we are notoriously slow starters and our away form wasnt great last year so lets get a big one out of the way.

Second Game: Norwich (H) - To see how we compete against another team who has just come up with us who are also favourites with ourselves to go down.

Third Game: West Brom (H) - Bring in another average prem team so we can keep our points ticking over ;)

Fourth Game: Liverpool (A) - Test ourselves against another big boy after having a couple of prem gems when players start gelling.

Fith Game: Wigan/Villa (H) - Just to beat Martinez Side :)

Have fun picking. :)
 
If our away from gets off to a slow start then we should play Man U away when we are in better form. Sounds like you want us to lose.
 
No, maybe what i was trying to say didnt come out right. I never want Swans to lose but based on the last 2 or 3 seasons we have lost our opening games.

So if that was to continue then i would rather get a loss against a team we are not expected to beat than take a loss to a team more evenly matched.

If that makes sense?
 
Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Fulham and Wolves. Let's get some points on the board and worry about the glamour teams later on.
 
anybody will do i dont care as we have to play them twice whoever they are, im just happy we are in the premiership and apart from the 6 or 7 super clubs then we will hold our own whoever we play, we will win some that on paper we should lose and we will lose games that we should win, i have faith in buck and i think we will do very well in our first season back in the top flight...bring on whoever as buck and the boys will be ready to give them a game....

Yes, understand perfectly. Maybe it would be good start with an away win against Man U. Perhaps the precedent is that last time in the top division we won our first game 5-1.
