I just hope all this excitement is warranted and won't come back to hit us like some boomerang.

As I said earlier (and at the risk of being labelled a damn pessimist again) we have witnessed this scenario time and time again over the years.

Let's keep our feet on the ground. Let's avoid the celebratory pat on the back for Rodgers and Ayres and wait. Give the lad a chance before labelling him as the next Suarez. Which some here have already done...<doh>
