Washington,Tyne & Wear.
I have managed to attend the Burnley & Millwall matches at home recently and I can't help feeling that we need a 'beast in the box' to compliment Fryatt and add another dimension to our play, especially when teams park the proverbial bus after taking a lead. With Folan gone (not that he was the answer) should we not be looking for a taller, more powerfull striker to break down the walls as the forwards we have just don't seem to have enough physical presence to do this. Any suggestions?

Get Jon Parkin back! :D

BEAST! BEAST! BEAST!

I'd like to see Steve Morison or Billy Sharp, not necessarily a big target man but still a prolific goalscorer to match, or even better Fryatt.

i agree we need a striker with a presence, or with genuine pace..
we have no outlet either way, because for all fryatts talent, hes slow, so cant hit it over the top...in know mclean has a bit, but he has no touch,...i liked it when stewart played up front..
id love us to resign beast, ive said it for the past 3 years, dont care how fat he is, hes a right handful in the box...

I liked Stewart up top too, shame we only got to see it for a few games

I think NP and the mangement team will have plenty of irons in the fire, i wouldn't be too suprised to see some deals done pretty early in the close season. Feel more confident going into transfer windows under the new regime than under Brownie and co. I'm confident we can rectify the positions we're weakest in over the summer, the signings we've made recently have proved that Hull City is an attractive option for players which can only be good in the long run.
