I'm using Chrome out here, managed to get it working finally, what a difference using this place compared to IE6. Would use Firefox but the offshore firewall won't let me download Flash player for it. Chrome already has it installed.
It's a bit of a strange one. When tabbed browsing first came about I used Firefox (due to a general dislike to IE when IE6 was released and it was seen as the only real alternative) but I never thought tabbed browsing would ever take off, then when Chrome came about I liked the idea of the grid on the start page and the GUI (I found it more attractive then Safari, which also has the grid function). I then slowly got used to tabbed browsing (more so since getting Windows 7 and their silly buttoned task bar came about - I daren't change it back to the old setting through fear of my childrens wrath) and i've just stuck with it.
I've never had any major issues with privacy (I don't have anything to hide anyway). Chrome has a nice GUI, the tabs are tidy (They look messy on my work PC where I use IE8) and it has a clean feel to it (plus things like Google Earth seem to be smoother in Chrome).
Has anyone got any information on when IE9 will be getting a final release? My wife uses the Beta and she has loads of problems viewing videos on facebook
Whoever has chrome: GET SPEED DIAL, Best Chrome Extension there is, basically you can customize your new tab page so it has pre-set websites, like Chrome's default grid but with whatever websites you want!
