I know some fans of both sets of supporters (posted this on Cardiff and Swansea forums) are not happy with the spending at the clubs this season. This should be a warning. Im glad our spending is limited. If we go down worst thing is we are back in The Championship with a decent squad to challenge again.

Swansea get shot of your high earners and build again.

This is going to set QPR back years with these repayments round their neck.

Better to have a stable club - Who are next Forest , Derby , Bournemouth , Fulham , Wolves , Sjoke.

I'll have no sympathy if they end up in the sh!t.

Villa didn't get rid of their top earners when they were relegated and look what happened to them. Better rebuild from scratch which it seems we are trying to do.

That's Villa, plenty of teams have kept the nucleus of their PL squads and been fine, not every club has off loaded everyone of any quality. Villa is and was an even bigger basket case than us. Yes we needed to shed some earners, but you cant just get rid of everyone of any quality that makes absolutely no sense, so what do you call building from scratch, is it using the kids and cross fingers and toes that we don't end up in l1 or is it replace the high earners with quality championship players on championship wages, because the club are going for the first one.

That’s what I’ve done Phil. Ripped up the old deck built my own pergola ontop of my decking frame then re replaced the decking. Nice load of lights on it now as well. I want to now grow a vine to go round it.

Another summer of work and it will be what I’ve always wanted to do.

My Vine has really taken off this summer, it was in a large venetian pot, transplanted it in the ground, and built the Pergola, getting in early with global warming!!!.......<laugh>

It's on a major slope, that's why Never is renowned as the biggest uphill gardener in Hampshire.
