Anybody know what the finances are looking like? What will receive for say finishing 10th or above. Personally I feel we must secure Leon for he is so important to the way we play. To sign Siggy as well would be fantastic and Caulker would be superb. But I am concious of not jeopardising our future stability by '' breaking the bank '', and being like the legolanders, What do you guys think?

Well we spent 10 million in the summer , throw in another million for loaners in February , probably more . The 8 million acquired losses will have been payed with this season money , which includes the bonuses payed out not long after Wembley . Servicing contracts , upkeep , travelling . I figure were 10 million to the good from this seasons money , but I've been known to be wrong on finance , ask any Bluebird . P.S. I'm thinking 7 million for finishing 10th . Think were the envy on many levels !!

i've had a little dig around and this is what i've found about last season-
each clubs gets 14.6m tv deal i think plus .5m for each game(guarenteed at least 10), then another 10.1m from overseas tv and another 2m from sponsership/etc, so that's at least 31.7m and then you add prem prize money, bottom club got .8m and it goes up .8m every place, so we're currently in the 10.4m place, so if we finished there we'd get 42.1m plus what ever we make from our own revenues gate money/sponsorship/etc. last year our turnover was 10.1m(or something close to that) i would think this season would be closer to 15m, so that's pushing us up towards the 60m mark

Doctor your figures are pretty close, the way I look at it, is, if we can maintain the position that we are in, then the additional bonus from our position in the table will have in itself paid off last years overdraft of 8 Million! we are doing fine, Breezy agree mate...............

It's all about keeping our feet on the ground and building one step at a time, I'm sure the Swansea board will realise the responsibilities of gearing to stay in the Prem, with long term sustainability. We obviously need to move our infrastructure up a level now as a club, and grow sensibly within our new financial means, would hate to see all this new found wealth being wasted on players, that's a trap that has ruined many clubs, don't want to see that with us..

that's the main thing(infarstructure) dragon, and if those fairwood plans come off and an academy we'll be on our way then, with the airport near the fairwood complex and the gower on your doorstep it would be an impressive surrounding to fly new talent into.

The reinvestment of any future profits which we should be making should always be ploughed back into the continuous growth of our clubs infrastructure - academy, expantion, investments etc.. would help avoid paying very high rates of tax 50% - 40% to the government A lot of money over the years.
I know tax is the life blood of running our country but no one knows how to avoid it better than the top earners and the powers that be waste a large % of it .
